22 individual glass quilt squares are arranged in a two by eleven pattern. The glass squares are fused together in the kiln at over 1500 degrees. Strips of clear glass between each square create the appearance of free floating but connected squares. Each square has its own color and character. Each totem is handmade and the colors and composition vary.
The patchwork totem is held in a stainless steel frame and the total dimensions are 55”x 5.5”. The patchwork glass is 5’x25”. When inserted 12’ to 18” into the ground the above ground dimensions are 37” to 43” tall. The stainless steel frame will not rust or discolor.
